Rukh secures first UPL win of the season
Rukh head coach Leonid Kuchuk commented on the victory over Dawn (3:1) in the match of the 4th round Ukrainian Premier League.
“Today we played with a team that rightfully takes first place in the championship. In terms of play and results, Zorya is one of the best teams in the UPL. It was quite difficult to close the zones, because the opponent has individually strong players and a good coach.”
“But we took into account all the mistakes that were made in the first rounds and did not allow the opponent to beat us. I will say tritely – the team and the team wins. Today we had a team on the field that wanted to win this match.”
Thanks to Talles’ hat-trick, Rukh got his first victory of the season and moved up to ninth place in the Ukrainian championship.
Rukh will face Veres in the next round. The base date for the matches of the tour is October 1.
