Leipzig management intends to fire Tedesco

Former Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose is considered the main candidate for a replacement

Management RB Leipzig intends to fire the head coach Domenico Tedesco. The club will soon decide on the fate of the mentor.

Management is dissatisfied with the results of the team at the start of the 2022/23 season. In five rounds of the Bundesliga, Leipzig scored only 5 points, in the last round they lost to Eintracht (0:4). In the opening match of the Champions League group stage, the Bulls conceded four goals from Shakhtar at home.

The main contender for the main post of the team, in the event of Tedesco’s dismissal, is called the former Borussia D coach Marco Rose. The 45-year-old specialist is a Leipzig graduate who previously played for the team as a football player.

The Bulls will play their next match in the Bundesliga against Borussia Dortmund on 10 September. In the second round of the Champions League, RB Leipzig will play away with Real Madrid on September 14.
