Belarusian striker Ilya Chkurin suspended the agreement with Moscow CSKA according to the press service of the football club.
Shkurin took advantage of the International Football Federation (FIFA) rule allowing foreign players and Russian club coaches to unilaterally suspend contracts until June 30, 2023.
The player has already signed a one-season contract with the club. Maccabi Petah Tikva , who at the end of the season flew out of the first division of the Israeli championship. The Israeli team announced Shkurin’s transfer on social media.
In February, Shkurin moved to Rakow from CSKA on loan, but the Polish club announced on Monday that they had terminated the deal with the player. Shkurin’s contract with the Army team runs until June 2024.
Shkurin moved to CSKA in 2020, having been loaned out several times. In total, the 23-year-old striker made 19 appearances for CSKA, scoring 3 goals.
