The court found footballer Santi Mina guilty of a crime committed in June 2017.

Celta striker Santi Mina has been sentenced to four years in prison for rape. According to the AS, this decision was made by the court, which found the player guilty.

In addition to the prison term, he must pay the victim 50 thousand euros in compensation, and for 12 years he could not approach him closer than 500 meters.

It will be recalled that the attacker was accused of having sex with a woman against his will in the van of his friend David Goldar. According to the investigation, on June 16, 2017, Mina told the girl that she liked him and offered to be with her, and when she refused, he raped her.

At the same time, the court acquitted David Goldar, who did not interfere with the commission of the crime, from criminal liability. According to the publication, Mina will file an appeal against the court’s decision. He insisted that everything happened by mutual agreement.
