UEFA postpones Arsenal v PSV match in UEL due to police activity during bereavement events

The second round match of the group stage of the Europa League between the Londoners”Arsenal ” and PSV Eindhoven has been postponed to a new date due to a lack of police resources, according to a UEFA statement.

The match was originally scheduled to take place on September 15. On these dates, the police force will be involved in mourning events in connection with the death of Queen Elizabeth II. UEFA will announce a new match date at a later date.

“The postponement of the match is due to severe police resource constraints and organizational issues relating to ongoing national mourning activities for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,” UEFA said in a statement.

The death of Queen Elizabeth II was announced on September 8. His funeral is scheduled for September 19.
