Sport Arena names the symbolic team of the third round of the First League of the season 2022/23

Polissya ‒ FSK Mariupol – 4:2 SK Poltava – Metallurg – 1:2
Dinaz – Epicenter – 1:3 LNZ – Flint – 2:0
Sunday, September 11 Saturday, September 10
Prykarpattya – Niva (Ternopil) – 1:0 FC Chernihiv – Obolon – 0:1
Karpaty (Lviv) – Bukovina – 4:0 Skoruk – Gornik-Sport – 1:1

About the best personalities and the main figures of the tour – here.

Goalkeeper – Roman Lepka (Karpaty)

Bukovina consistently shot at the gates of Lviv – both from the game and from the standards. Lepka bailed out after the strikes of Palahniuk, Gakman and Zhumiga and brought the match to a devastating “dry” victory. Thanks to the hard work of the goalkeeper and his defenders, the Karpaty remain the last team of the First League, which is still not allowed to concede goals (although, in fairness, goalscoring opportunities regularly arise from the opponents of Lviv).

  • Best in Group “B”: Nazarius Fedorivsky (Flint)

Right back – Ilya Cherednichenko (Polesye)

The match in Zhytomyr is from the category of “festival”: both teams both made mistakes and pleasantly surprised with their skills. This also applies to Cherednichenko, who brightly played the attack, although he did not do without flaws in his own half of the field. Ilya could open the scoring already in the opening, later on he was an active participant in most of Polesie’s sharp attacks through the right flank. Actually, the first goal of Budkovsky took place just after his pass with a cross.

  • Best in Group “B”: Igor Soldat (LNZ Cherkasy)

Central defender – Oleg Tarasenko (LNZ Cherkasy)

At the important moment of changing the head coach, it was important to play convincingly, and the opponent, young and courageous Flint, started well and did not set up for a simple game. It’s good that at such a moment the Cherkasy team found a leader. Tarasenko played well in defense, allowing almost nothing to the best player of the last round, Vivdich, and also traditionally connected to the set pieces, striking three times from dangerous positions.

  • Best in Group “A”: Bogdan Kushnirenko (Polesie)

Central defender – Vasily French (Prykarpattya)

First of all, we note the game of the defense of the Carpathian region – rather skillful, technical Ternopil residents did not receive the expected freedom at the gates of the hosts. As for the Frenchman, he still worked well on the attack. After his long pass, Barchuk could score, and Vasily himself connected well to set pieces and shook the frame of the goal.

  • Best in Group “B”: Bogdan Veklyak (Metallurg)

Left back – Evgeny Shevchenko (Epicenter)

Another strong match from the left full-back of Kamyanchan. In Demidov, Shevchenko constantly worked out along the entire length of his flank, taking a direct part as an assistant in the goals of Gorny and Puchkovsky. Evgeny also quite often took on standard positions under the left leg, which was effectively used by teammates (remember the situation with the corner and the third goal). Following the results of three rounds, Shevchenko leads the list of the best in assists.

  • Best in Group “B”: Alexey Malaki (Gornyak-Sport)

Central midfielder – Taras Moroz (Obolon)

The capital team pulled out three points in Chernihiv. It should be noted the strong game of the middle link of Obolon, in which defensive midfielder Moroz did a huge amount of rough work. Playing “breakwater”, Taras was the first to redirect the balls forward after the tackle and interacted well with teammates. The signing of the ex-Ternopolian can be considered a significant transfer success for the Kiev team.

  • Best in Group “A”: Vasily Gritsuk (Polesie)

Right midfielder – Denis Kozhanov (Carpathians)

Here is Kozhanov, whom we knew. Starting the new season from the reserve, buildup, the experienced leader of Lviv in the third round gave the first strong match of the season. It was he who sent an assist under the early goal of Taranukha, then played a lightning-fast combination with Galenkov and Chachua for the second goal, and also scored with a direct free kick (this goal was recorded after all on Denis, and not on Makhnev, who touched the ball, who touched the ball in front of goalkeeper). The disadvantage is an unrealized penalty in the match with Bukovina, however, thanks to the efforts of the team, this miss remained a small episode of the won game.

  • Best in Group “B”: Alexander Chernov (Obolon)

Attacking midfielder – Suleyman Seythalilov (Gornyak-Sport)

Zhabchenko’s wards played the first official match in the new season and the new line-up, so the trip to Skoruk was expected to be surprisingly difficult. And an early conceded goal seemed to aggravate Gornyak-Sport’s chances. But it’s good for the guests that in Zaporozhye they found a player who can take his teammates with him. Seythalilov could have scored at the beginning of the meeting, attacking great from depth and with a second pace, and equalized the score with a good shot from Tsvirenko’s pass after a corner kick.

  • Best in Group “A”: Ambrosius Chachua (Carpathians)

Left midfielder – Ivan Sondey (Prykarpattya)

To celebrate the contribution that the experienced and technical midfielder Sondey has made, let’s put him on the left in midfield (due to the versatility and mobility of this player, able to cover large areas of the field). Immediately after the break, the Prykarpattian first shot at Niva’s goal, and then scored a beautiful ball into the goal of Ternopil, famously taking Tsyutsyura’s serve and breaking through without a chance for rivals.

  • Best in Group “B”: Ivan Tishchenko (LNZ Cherkasy)

Forward – Maxim Gorny (Epicenter)

Nagornyak seems to reveal Gorny’s talent at the first league level. The forward in the match with Dinaz from the first minutes showed a focus on the goal and sharpness. He equalized the score at an important moment, reacting to Shevchenko’s flank cross, he could have scored more from the field. He earned a penalty in the fight against the goalkeeper, which he himself converted. A key contributor to this away win.

  • Best in Group “B”: Alexander Mishurenko (Skoruk)

Forward – Philip Budkovsky (Polesie)

In the game with the Mariupol team, the former striker of FC Mariupol gave the strongest match for Polissya. Budkovskiy scored a penalty for the first goal, scored twice (in different style) after assists from Cherednichenko and Kozak and achieved full advantage in the struggle in the opponent’s half of the field. Philip looked like “Gulliver”, towering among his rivals and constantly winning riding balls.

  • Best in Group “B”: Vladislav Nekhtiy (LNZ Cherkasy)

Tour coach – Andriy Tlumak (Karpaty)

And who will now remember that the Lviv team are newcomers to the division, who have just moved up in the class? Three “dry” victories in a row at the start of the new season confirmed the status of the Karpaty as one of the favorites of the season, they are already demanding results, victories are perceived as expected and due. We note the stability of the Lviv team at the start of the season and its leadership, and the match against Bukovina (4-0 home win) is an example of the game of modern Carpathians under the leadership of Tlumak.

Joker of the tour – Ivan Sondey (Prykarpattya)

We have several players at once, luxuriously entered the game from the bench. Shastal from Zhytomyr managed to score with an assist, Mogilny from Zaporozhye and Chernov from Obolonets earned a penalty for the winning goals of their teams. And we liked more how the experienced and technical midfielder Sondey strengthened the game after coming on as a substitute. The Prykarpattian immediately after the break for the first time had a sighting on Niva’s goal, and then scored a beautiful ball into the goal of Ternopil, famously taking Tsyutsyura’s throw and breaking through without a chance for rivals.

Sport Arena stats: 3 league matches, 1 goal.

The best young player of the tour – Maxim Gorny (Epicenter)

The most effective player of the debutant team of the First League is at the same time among the youngest in its composition. 21-year-old Gorny, having returned from Slovakia, liked Munkács back in the MFA, where he regularly scored in the Second League. Now Maxim has reached a new level of skill – in three matches after promotion in the Epicenter class, the newcomer scored three effective actions, in Demidov he contributed to the strong-willed victory of Kamenchan over Dinaz with two goals.

Sport Arena stats: 3 league matches, 2 goals, 1 assist.

Goal of the tour – Igor Bykovsky (FSK Mariupol → Polissya)

Yes, what is it! Either “fresh” tours, or goals like from a cornucopia! In this round, Sondey from Carpathia, Seythalilov from Gornyak-Sport could claim this nomination, and Bykovsky from Mariupol generally provided us with two beautiful goals in the rubric. The first one – a cut blow to the nine – we leave in the nominees. And the winner is a real masterpiece! Quoting the report: “After Kharzhevsky’s out, Gitchenko put pressure on Igor, and it seemed that at the corner of the penalty area, the Mariupol midfielder would have no where to go. But Bykovsky cunningly turned around and launched the ball in an arc into the far corner with his left foot for execution – 2:2! Somewhere Arjen Robben choked on a tea.”
