Former Lokomotiv footballer Ignatiev says he received offers from Kazakhstan and Turkey

Former Lokomotiv and Rubin midfielder Vladislav Ignatiev said he could join teams from Kazakhstan and Turkey in the summer transfer window.

Ignatiev left Rubin at the end of last season, for which he has been playing since 2021. The Kazan club failed to retain a residence permit in the top division of Russian football.

– There were several proposals. Including other countries – Kazakhstan and Turkey. I hope you can find a team this season. Ideally, in Moscow. There was a specific offer from a club not from Moscow, but from afar, so I rejected it. Now I want to stay in Moscow” Ignatiev told Sport24.

Ignatiev defended the colors of Lokomotiv from 2016 to 2021, and also previously played for Kuban, Krylya Sovetov and Krasnodar. The midfielder has played five matches for the Russian national team.
