The legendary defender and Golden Ball winner is ready to make his debut as a coach in his homeland.
Fabio Cannavaro could return to coaching in his home country and lead a Serie B club. The former defender of the Italian national team, Real Juventus and winner of the 2006 Ballon d’Or is currently in talks with the Benevento team.
According to the journalist Fabrizio Romano, the discussions are going on in a positive way and the parties will soon conclude a contract.

Note that the legendary defender has never coached a club in his native Italy before. Before that, the 49-year-old coach worked as an adviser to teams from China and Saudi Arabia.
