The President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Pavelko, spoke about the extension of the aggressor’s disqualification.
UEFA has extended Russia’s suspension and removed the country from participation in Euro 2024. Andriy Pavelko, President of the Ukrainian Football Association, announced this on his Facebook page.
According to him, the Union of European Football Associations decided to exclude the aggressor country from the draw for qualifying for the tournament. Accordingly, the Russians will not be able to break into its core.
“The Russians have nothing to prepare for. If necessary, Russia will not be in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 9. And, at least until 2024, they will not have official international football competitions!
Euro 2024 will be held without an aggressor country,” Pavelko wrote.
Note that the draw for the qualifying round of Euro 2024 will be held on October 9 in Frankfurt, and the tournament itself from June 14 to July 14, 2024 in Germany.
Earlier, Pavelko told how the story ended with the complaint of the Russians against the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Oleksandr Petrakov.
