The Council of the Professional Football League of Ukraine announced the early end of the season.

As expected, the football championships in the First and Second Leagues were completed ahead of schedule. This was reported by the website of the Ukrainian Football Association. They did the same in the competitions, as they did a few days before the Ukrainian Premier League championship.

The tournament tables of both divisions on February 24 were identified as final.

The final Second League teams will not end their membership in the PFL and will not be removed from the professional divisions.

How to determine the exchange of clubs between the leagues will decide later. For this, a separate working group will be created, which will decide who is eligible for promotion and who is not. The project he proposed will be submitted for approval by the UAF Executive Committee.

The season in Ukrainian football ended earlier than schedule due to Russia’s invasion, which began on the morning of February 24th.
