Athletistic/ Football. 39-year-old Brazilian defender Dani Alves is not against extending his contract with Barcelona.
“I train hard every day without thinking about anything because I don’t know what will happen in the future. However, I can say with confidence that I would like to stay at Barcelona because it is my home. And I think I can continue to benefit the club, but the extension of the contract does not depend only on me. If Barcelona want me to extend the contract, I will be very happy,” said Alves.
Dani Alves returned to Barcelona in November 2021 and has been able to take part in official matches since 2022. Previously, he played for the “blue garnet” from 2008 to 2016. After that, Alves’ career included appearances for Juventus ( 2016-2017), PSG (2017-2019) and Brazilian Sao Paulo (2019-2021).
The Brazilian made 404 appearances in two spells at Barcelona, scoring 22 goals and 79 assists.
