Dutch driver “Red Bull” Max Verstappen became the winner of the qualification for the sprint race of the 10th stage of the Formula 1 championship – the Austrian Grand Prix.
The reigning world champion’s time is 1 minute 4.440 seconds. Second was his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez (+0.493), followed by Briton Lando Norris (+0.570; McLaren).
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) did not reach the second segment, becoming 18th.
The sprint race on the Spielberg track will take place on Saturday and will start at 5:30 p.m. Moscow time.
