Mark Priestley: “There’s not much in Aston Martin’s way at the moment, so a move for Max Verstappen seems unlikely, but if he joins Adrian Newey it would be a dream team, especially if Fernando Alonso stays.

Aston Martin have some great engineers, if they add Adrian Newey and the people he wants around him, it will really be a better team.

In addition, they have a newly built base with the latest equipment and a state-of-the-art wind tunnel.

All of this will undoubtedly excite an engineer like Adrian and a racer like Max, who during his career always wanted to be surrounded by the best. And if all these factors come together, it could very well be that he leaves Red Bull.”
