Mito Pereira and his debut in The Players: “I want to enjoy it”

This Thursday begins one of the most important tournaments of the PGA: The Players, which is considered the fifth Major and in which Joaquín Niemann (22nd in the world ranking) and Guillermo Pereira (95th) will be there. The event will take place in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, where Joaco will try to improve on 29th place in the last edition and Mito will make his debut in this traditional tournament.

The tournament not only awards a very high number of points in the FedEx Cup and for the world ranking, but also provides five-year exemptions for all majors and for the tour, and this year stands out for the distribution of a bag of 20 million dollars, the largest in the history of golf. That is, the champion will take $3.6 million. And to fight for such a prize, 48 of the world’s top 50 will be present.
