On the way back, Tosti bogeyed the par-4 12th and then again thanks to his power off the tee (number one away from the driver) he birdied the 16th which gave him a brief lead.
“Today I hit the shots I was supposed to hit. I missed a lot on the left and that’s something I’m working on, but I think this week I’ve improved. It’s great to define, with all the frameworks of people, and to have the opportunity to do it in my first season is priceless”Tosti said he will play the Valero Texas Open next week.
Tosti is making his debut this season on the PGA TOUR and so far in 2024 he has made four cuts in eight events and this is his best performance.
