Before his 40th birthday, Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg decided to treat himself to a luxurious yacht valued at $300 million.

The Facebook founder’s boat is called launching ramp and was built by Feadship, a Dutch company founded in 1949 that has become one of the most prestigious yacht builders in the world.

On the exterior of the ship, white and navy blue predominate. Its length is 118 meters, it weighs 5,000 tonnes, the hull is made of steel with an aluminum superstructure and it is powered by four engines, which give it a maximum speed of 24 knots.

Among its most innovative features are underwater lights and anchor GPS. There are three decks in total, as well as a large space in the bow to relax and enjoy any trip.

The specialist media also highlights that it has a capacity of 24 guests and a crew of 48 people.

Although there are almost no photos of the Launchpad from the inside, The sun reported that it has a small cinema, a jacuzzi, a solarium, a beauty center and an area with direct access to the water for bathers. The ship’s helipad is located on the upper deck.

Zuckerberg had been eyeing the luxury yacht since at least December 2023. At that time, British media reported, the billionaire was spotted at the Feadship shipyard when the launch pad had another name: Project 1010.

In March this year, after obtaining special permission to be imported, the mega ship made its maiden voyage from the Netherlands to the United States. Shortly after, he moved to Panama, according to Business Insider.
