How MrBeast’s Bizarre Social Experiment With 50 Influencers and $1 Million Went

Ibai Llanos, El Rubius and Logan Paul were among the content creators who joined the meeting.

James Donaldson, known online as Mr. Beast recently created one of the videos the most anticipated of this year.

On this occasion, the American YouTuber launched “50 YouTubers Fight for $1,000,000” a 40+ minute disc that tells the story of how some of the world’s most famous content creators came together to take on a challenge and win a million dollar prize pool.

It was MrBeast’s social experiment

For his YouTube channel, MrBeast hosted a massive meetup attended by 50 content creators from different countries. Ibai Llanos, El Rubius, Logan Paul, Nil Ojeda, Kai Cenat and KSI were some of the personalities who joined the meeting.

The experiment was based on the fact that all the influencers had to stay in a large glass cube for as long as possible. The last one who managed to stay in this space could win a million dollars, which was then to be distributed among his followers.

“Look at all the YouTubers laughing and having a good time. By the end of this video, that won’t be the case anymore.” MrBeast explained at the beginning of the challenge.

While the biggest goal was to stay in the booth, the YouTuber also added smaller obstacles for contestants to overcome, like playing Jenga with giant pieces and cooking for a panel of judges.

The 50 influencers had to stay in a glass cabin for as long as possible.

Finally, Jaiden Animations, an American influencer with more than 13 million subscribers on YouTube, was crowned the winner of the experiment. The content creator assured that with the sum of one million dollars she would help some of her subscribers attend an art school.

MrBeast’s video has had a huge impact on Internet users: several days after its premiere, it has more than 172 million views on YouTube and 7 million likes.

However, some influencers were not very happy with their participation. This is the case of the Spaniard Ibai Llanos, who said that although the experience was generally positive, he considers that Spanish-speaking YouTubers do not have the same importance as Americans.

“It’s an experience that I would obviously repeat. We’ve gone out very little, but you also have to understand that we, compared to American YouTubers and streamers, are insignificant.” assured the streamer.

“For them, we Spaniards are, well, I don’t know if we are from the third world, but well, we are people who don’t even know where Spain is. They think that Argentines, Spaniards, Mexicans and Guatemalans are all Mexicans. For them, it’s the same, they don’t know us,” he concluded.
