DS1 Grant Conditions

When grant applications opened, the government reported that The conditions for receiving it are as follows: :

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a valid national identity card.
  • Foreign candidates must be in possession of their valid foreign identity card and this must indicate their permanent residence.
  • Credit a savings account that is at least 12 months old. To respect this seniority, the savings account opening date must be no later than April 30, 2023.
  • Have the minimum savings based on the value of the house you are looking to buy or build, which must be deposited in a home savings account, on the last business day of the month preceding the month of application, in this case this corresponds to Tuesday, April 30, 2024, 2:00 p.m. The savings account must be in the name of the applicant, his spouse or civil partner.
  • Do not exceed the socio-economic qualification percentage of the Social Household Register (RSH), corresponding to the Component of the grant for which you wish to apply:
  1. Section 1: less than 60% of socio-economic vulnerability.
  2. Section 2: less than 80% of socio-economic vulnerability.
  3. Section 3: If socio-economic vulnerability exceeds 90%, it must not exceed the monthly family income limits.

Older people applying for sections 1 and 2 may belong to up to 90% of the most vulnerable people in the population, according to the current socio-economic qualification established in the Social Household Register (RSH).
