This Tuesday, September 10 at noon, via the official blog of PlayStation the japanese brand Sony revealed what the new one will look like PlayStation 5 Pro the video game platform that leads the ninth generation of consoles.

Right off the bat, the PS5 Pro promises a significant improvement in terms of Visual aspects and performance of the most demanding games . According to the announcement that it was developed with “higher fidelity graphics with smoother frame rates at 60 FPS”, this would have been achieved with key upgrades.

First of all, the PS5 Pro brings “an improved GPU with 67% more computing units” than the PS5 and “a 28% faster memory “.

The PS5 Pro also includes a AI-powered scaling thanks to PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), which uses machine learning to deliver ultra-sharp image clarity “by adding an extraordinary amount of detail.”

These advances can be tested, for example, on titles that will receive new patches with free updates to maximize the performance of the PS5 Pro : Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Demon’s Souls, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 either The Last of Us Part IIamong other titles.
