The deadline for having the patent engraved on car windows and mirrors is from September 14, although it only applies to new vehicles sold on or after August 15 of this year. .

Please note that cars sold between September 11, 2023 and mid-August 2024 will not be considered new.

In the meantime, for used vehicles sold before November 2023, Compliance with the measure will be required from May 14, 2025 .

The difference in dates occurs taking into account the deadlines determined by the standard, counted from the publication of the regulation on Official Journal current May.

What should patent engraving look like?
