National holidays
According to the Chilean calendar, there are three public holidays in September 2024, on the following days:
- Wednesday, September 18, an unmissable public holiday for national independence.
- Thursday, September 19, an unmissable public holiday for the Army Glory Day.
- Friday September 20, public holiday added but not essential.
This year there is an extra day thanks to the Law 20 215 which determines the added holiday when mandatory holidays are placed so that there is only one isolated day on a Monday or Friday.
How will trade work?
As for national holidays, for On Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th, the operation of the business is prohibited. .
THE premises that will be able to open their doors on both days because they constitute exceptions to the norm, they correspond to:

- Premises managed by their own owners.

- Thursday 19: Jumbo, Easy, shops, businesses and food court closed. The cinema is open until 01:00; restaurants and Costanera viewpoint until 19:00 and Sky Costanera until 21:00.
- Friday 20: usual hours.
