The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development will soon offer three ways to complete the process of obtaining the benefit.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (Minvu ) confirmed the dates you can apply DS1 grant .
Deadlines correspond to the second call of 2024 of the benefit intended for intermediate sectors, which will allow families buy or build a house .
The organization will activate three ways in which the procedure can be completed, where you will need the Unique Code to use any of the mechanisms.
When to apply for the DS1 grant
The DS1 Grant application is made on the following dates:
- Automatic application for those registered in advance, from November 20 .
- Application online In minvu.cl of November 21 .
- Via Citizen Attention Form Since November 22 .
Registration channels will be activated until November 29 from 2024, at 4:00 p.m.
Minimum savings to apply for the DS1 grant
The minimum savings to apply to benefit from the DS1 Subsidy must be deposited into the household’s bank account until October 30, at 2:00 p.m. .
The amount required depends on the section to which you are going to apply, according to the following detail:
Buy a new or used house
- Tranche 1, 30 UF, approximately $1,140,000.
- Tranche 2, 40 UF, approximately $1,519,000.
- Tranche 3, 80 UF, approximately $3,038,000.
Construction of housing on its own site and/or land densification
- Tranche 2, 30 UF, approximately $1,140,000.
- Tranche 3, 50 UF, approximately $1,899,000.
Requirements to apply for the DS1 grant
The conditions to access this advantage are as follows:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid national identity card.
- Foreign applicants must be in possession of their valid Foreigners’ Identity Card at the time of application and it must indicate their final residence.
- Credit a savings account that is at least 12 months old.
- Have a minimum savings based on the value of the home you want to buy or build, which must be deposited into a home savings account. The savings account must be in the name of the applicant, their spouse or civil partner.
- Do not exceed the socio-economic qualification percentage in the Household Social Register (RSH), corresponding to the component of the subsidy for which you wish to apply. Within the limit of 60% for Tranche 1; within the limit of 80% for Tranche 2 (except for elderly people who can belong to 90% in the first two tranches); and within the limit of 90% without exceeding the income ceiling of Tranche 3.
