Joaquín Niemann said goodbye to the Tour Championship with a final round of joys and sorrows. The Chilean ended his participation in the tournament with a card of the day of -1, which left his aggregate score at -13. His last day in the competition was positive, however, as he improved his numbers from Saturday, when, before the day had to be suspended due to rain, he scored -12. However, it wasn’t enough to stay in the top ten and he finished in 11th place, tied with Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama.

The talagantino, in the first place, had to complete the pending holes once the weather caused him to leave the course early. Niemann, back on the field away from the leaders, was on a mission to cut further shots. However, he maintained the Saturday trend, one that required him to have joys and sorrows. In the third round, on the 17th hole, he tripped over a bogey although after that he recovered with a birds to close this collar.

“I haven’t made a decision yet,” the Chilean told Golf Channel after Friday’s round ended. I want to finish the playoffs and then see what my decision will be”, he added. Although those around him say that his departure is already doomed.
