General director “Carolina” Don Waddell spoke about the extension of the contract with the goalkeeper Pierre Kochetkov .
The deal with the 23-year-old goalkeeper is calculated until the end of the 2026/27 season.
“Peter has been extremely consistent with the Carolinas and the Chicago Wolves. We believe he has a bright future ahead of us and we’re excited to see him continue to grow as a person and as a player.”
Kochetkov signed a two-year rookie contract with Carolina last May. This season, he has played four matches, one of which he kept the gate intact, reflecting an average of 91.4%. In total, the goaltender has seven regular season games in the NHL and four games in the Stanley Cup.
