The LPGA Tour has unveiled its record-breaking 2026 schedule featuring 33 tournaments and a total prize purse exceeding $132 million across 13 countries.
The circuit spans 13 states across the United States alongside international stops, offering players the largest overall prize fund in women's professional golf history at more than $132 million, or £101 million.
The expanded calendar includes new venues and fresh events, highlighted by the Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek in Nevada. The tournament is co-sanctioned with the Ladies European Tour in partnership with Golf Saudi. Leading global players such as New Zealand major winner Lydia Ko and English golfer Charley Hull will chase success across the season, with Hull featuring in a Firsts and Favourites segment discussing her top players and initial tour wins.
Early season tournaments and first major
The campaign began in Florida from January 29 to February 1 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, where world number one Nelly Korda claimed victory. Action then shifted to Asia, where Thailand's Jeeno Thitikul won the Honda LPGA Thailand from February 19 to 22, before Australian Hannah Green secured the HSBC Women's World Championship title from February 26 to March 1.
South Korea's Mi Hyang Lee emerged victorious at the Blue Bay LPGA in China from March 5 to 8. The month concluded with consecutive victories for Hyo Joo Kim, who won the Fortinet Founders Cup from March 19 to 22 and the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass from March 26 to 29.
American Lauren Coughlin took the title at the inaugural Aramco Championship from April 2 to 5. Hannah Green then earned her second title of the year at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro from April 16 to 19.
The year's opening major, The Chevron Championship, took place from April 23 to 26 at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas, where Nelly Korda captured the title. Korda followed up by winning the Mexico Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba from April 30 to May 3.
Midseason victories and major battles
May action continued as Jeeno Thitikul took top honors at the Mizuho Americas Open from May 7 to 10. Recently turned professional Lottie Woad secured victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G from May 14 to 17, while France's Celine Boutier won the ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern from May 29 to 31.
Nelly Korda added another major trophy to her collection by winning the US Women's Open presented by Ally from June 4 to 7. Team play followed at the Dow Championship from June 11 to 14, where Gina Kim and Yana Wilson combined to win the team title.
Japan's Miyu Yamashita won the Meijer LPGA Classic from June 18 to 21. Major championship play resumed at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship from June 25 to 28, where South Korea's Haeran Ryu emerged as winner.
Haeran Ryu carried her strong form into July by winning The Amundi Evian Championship in France from July 9 to 12, securing back to back major titles.
European swing and Solheim Cup victory
An annual European swing took place across July and August, featuring co-sanctioned events and the final two majors of the season. Jenny Shin won the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open from July 23 to 26.
Shiho Kuwaki captured the AIG Women's Open title from July 30 to August 2. Her victory followed Miyu Yamashita claiming her first major title at the same championship in 2025.
Jeeno Thitikul won The Standard Portland Classic from August 13 to 16, Miyu Yamashita took the CPKC Women's Open from August 20 to 23, and Ruoning Yin claimed the FM Championship from August 27 to 30.
The tour returned to Europe for the biennial Solheim Cup team contest in the Netherlands from September 11 to 13, where Team Europe defeated Team USA. European captain Anna Nordqvist said her team was "shaping up nicely" ahead of the match and backed Lottie Woad to handle the pressure. The victory reclaimed the trophy after Team USA earned a 15.5 to 12.5 win in Virginia in 2024.
Autumn Asian swing and season finale
Following the Solheim Cup, Yuna Nishimura won the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G from September 25 to 27.
The schedule transitions into an Asian swing starting with the LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei at Hoakalei Country Club in Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii, from October 1 to 4. The Buick LPGA Shanghai follows in China from October 15 to 18 at a venue to be confirmed.
Players move to South Korea for the BMW Ladies Championship at Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam-gun from October 22 to 25, followed by the Maybank Championship at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club in Malaysia from October 29 to November 1.
Japan hosts the TOTO Japan Classic at Taiheiyo Club, Minori Course in Ibaraki from November 5 to 8. The tour returns to Florida for the final three tournaments of the year: The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican from November 12 to 15 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, the CME Group Tour Championship from November 19 to 22 at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, and the Grant Thornton Invitational from December 11 to 13 at Tiburon Golf Club.
