Ukrainian Moskalenko becomes two-time Paralympic champion in shot put with world record

Blue-yellows win 13 gold medals at 2024 Paralympics

Ukrainian sportswoman Anastasia Moskalenko With world record conquered gold in tcore push in class F32 on Paralympics 2024 in Paris.

The Ukrainian set a new world record (7.98 meters) in her second attempt and took the lead. In her fifth attempt, the Ukrainian improved her own record by pushing the projectile 8.00 meters, winning gold.

Moskalenko became a two-time Paralympic champion. The Ukrainian won her first title in shot put in Tokyo in 2021. She also won silver in hammer throw at the 2020 Paralympics.

Ukraine won four championship titles at the Paris Games in one day. The blue-yellows have 52 medals, including 13 gold. Ukraine rose to seventh place in the unofficial medal count.

The 2024 Paralympics are taking place in Paris from August 28 to September 8. The Ukrainian team is represented at the Games by 140 athletes. Ukrainians are competing in 17 of the 22 Paralympic sports – a record in the history of our country.
