The Pole is ready to sign a contract until the summer of 2025
Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny successfully passed the medical examination Barcelona. The Pole is ready to sign a contract with Blaugrana until the summer of 2025.
It was previously reported that Szczesny agreed to the role of Barcelona’s second goalkeeper. Wojciech intends to compete for a place in the starting lineup with Iñaki Pena, who will be the main goalkeeper of the Catalans.
Szczesny announced his retirement from his playing career in August. The Polish goalkeeper said goodbye to Juventus before the match with Napoli.

Barcelona suffered their first defeat of the season in the Spanish Championship in a match with Osasuna (2:4). Hans-Dieter Flick’s team continues to lead La Liga with 21 points. The Blaugrana’s next match will take on Young Boys on October 1 in the Champions League.
