Another Brazilian football icon, Neymar, also paid tribute to Messi on Tuesday ahead of the international farewell. Neymar and Messi previously played together at both Barcelona and French club Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar said that anyone who loves football has enjoyed watching Messi over the years. He expressed hope that Messi would enjoy every second of his final match wearing the shirt of his country and that all the tributes organized for him would make him happy.
