Santa Laura vibrates with the first day of the World Sevens Challenger Series

The qualifying tournament for the World Series began this Friday and ended with a day of great rugby. The men’s team had two wins, but the women’s team couldn’t celebrate in their duels.

Day one of the World Sevens Challenger Series filled Santa Laura with rugby. 24 matches enlivened a day in which Chile played two men’s matches and two women’s matches. While the men’s branch had two wins, the ladies suffered two losses . Tomorrow the actions continue with the closing of the group stage and the first knockout duels.

The ladies for their part were the first to complete their two matches of the day, falling in both. First 22-10 against South Africa, then 36-0 against China. . The nationals, who are currently last in their group, will play their last game of the round against Kenya tomorrow.

This Saturday, the actions start at 9:30 a.m. and will last until eight o’clock in the afternoon, receiving another 24 matches.
