Former coach Maria Sharapova and Anastasia Myskina Robert Lansdorp has died at the age of 85, American journalist Jon Wertheim reported on social media.
“Rest in peace Robert Lansdorp, such an underrated tennis figure and shot architect who contributed greatly to the games of many top players,” Wertheim wrote on his social media.
Over the years, Landsdorp has trained Grand Slam winners Maria Sharapova, Anastasia Myskina, Tracy Austin, Pete Sampras, Lindsay Davenport and others.
