Double Olympic champion, president of the St. Petersburg Biathlon Federation Dmitry Vasiliev told how one of the St. Petersburg biathletes mistakenly received a summons to the selection committee.
Previously, commentator Dmitry Guberniev reported that he had information that several biathletes were drafted into the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces.
– According to the agenda with the biathletes of St. Petersburg, nothing has changed. There was a case where a summons was mistakenly sent to one of the athletes, but he is a full-time student at the institute. After this became clear, the summons was cancelled. I see no reason to name the athlete. So far, no one from St. Petersburg has been called to receive uniforms and be sent to the front line,” Vasilyev told .
