The ISU explained the situation with quotas for Russian skaters at the European Championship and KM

The quotas won by Russian skaters, especially for the European All-Around Championships, still belong to them, but the suspension is still in effect, said Alexander Kibalko, board member of the International Skating Union, at MatchTV.

The ISU released the quotas for the 2023 European All-Around Championships on Thursday, including for the Russian team. The Russians have been suspended from ISU competitions amid the situation in Ukraine until further notice.

– The quotas which have been announced for the European Championship have been won following the results of the last European Championship. These quotas have not been denied. But the suspension notice is still in effect. So the situation is exactly the same as with the quotas for the World Cup stages,” said Kibalko.
