Due to the laziness of the organizers, the competitions were held without rifles and shots.
Russia continues to write the rules and orders of the world. This time the turn came to biathlon. Biathlon competitions among boys and girls aged 15-18 were held in the city of Izhevsk.
Everything will be fine, but the main feature of this sport – the spectators did not wait for shots from rifles on the firing lines.
Either the money for the cartridges was stolen according to the popular Russian tradition, or they forgot to buy cartridges, but the athletes just ran in a circle and scattered.
At the same time, the organizers themselves did not see anything terrible in what happened, and even remained proud of the fact that, in their words, “organized a holiday.”
“This tournament was held by us without shooting, because we did not have time to buy cartridges due to some procedures. The procedure for obtaining cartridges is not easy. We are running out of time, and in order not to cancel the competition, we held them without shooting, we covered distances without a shooting unit.
There is nothing wrong with this. It is possible not to hold anything, but competitions are still needed, competitions should be thought of as a holiday,” Ivan Cherezov, head of the Udmurt Biathlon Federation, told Russian media.
Apparently, the aggressor country decided to stop training athletes in this sport, because we remember that the IBU extended the disqualification of Russian and Belarusian biathletes.
