– At the beginning of the preparatory period there were some problems with motivation, we talked a lot with Viktor Aleksandrovich Sivkov and came to the conclusion that there was no reason to give up. I’m 21, I have to keep working. It is necessary to prove to everyone that a Russian athlete will not be broken for a whole year without an international season. The season is experimental, and that is also of interest to everyone,” Aldoshkin told a press conference at ‘s press center.
Aldoshkin is the silver medalist of the Olympic Games (2022), the bronze medalist of the World Cup in the team race, the champion of Russia in the classical all-around, the winner of the world championship in juniors in 2020 in a distance of 5000 meters and in the team race.
