– After all the accusations and scandals, what will be your relationship with Maygurov now?
– We will work with Viktor Viktorovich as usual. All these moments, which have been mentioned, have been observed since May. We communicate with him, as before, calmly.
– So, after all your declarations, Maygurov does not consider you an enemy?
– Not. He always has his opinion, I have mine. All this is perceived by me as a workflow.
– What are the differences between the programs of Nuzhdov and Maigurov?
– The programs of Maigurov and Nuzhdov differed in prize money. I believe that Maygurov’s program on this issue needs to be improved. According to its program, six top athletes will be awarded (cash prizes) at Russian competitions. In Nuzhdov’s program, the first 15 receive cash prizes. I think it would take 15. Which coaches should be rewarded, without pushing back indefinitely. I am always on the side of athletes and coaches, this is the most important thing in our biathlon,” Nugmanov told .
Before the election of the leader of the RRF, Nugmanov said that delegates from the federations of Transbaikalia, Perm Territory, Kaluga region, Republic of Buryatia and Novosibirsk region were forced to vote for Maigurov. Representatives of the Trans-Baikal, Kaluga and Perm federations confirmed to that they are under pressure through the regional sports ministries. The accreditations of the federations of Transbaikalia and the Perm Territory, which refused to vote for Maigurov, have been suspended by the local sports ministries.
