President of the Belarusian Biathlon Federation Andrian Tsibulsky congratulated Viktor Maygurov with re-election as President of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), noting that he hopes to strengthen partnerships between the organizations.
On Friday, Maygurov was re-elected as head of the RRF. In the elections, he got 31 votes, and his opponent, the president of the Moscow Region Biathlon Federation, Alexei Nuzhdov, 23.

At the moment, Russian and Belarusian biathletes are not allowed to compete under the auspices of the IBU due to the situation in Ukraine. RRF and BSE have signed an agreement to host the Commonwealth Cup, which consists of several summer and winter stages.
