Biathlon world champion Dmitry Pidruchny has signed a contract with the National Guard and is serving in Ternopil. The captain of the group of men himself spoke about it.
At the same time, the athlete himself does not believe that he did something special.
“I’m on a contract with the National Guard. I serve in Ternopil, helping in the military. Honestly, I don’t like it when they make me a hero.
I don’t do that much compared to the soldiers on the front lines. Yes, we help, protect, but, of course, the people on the front line are real heroes, ”Pidruchny said in an interview with Ukraine’s NOC.
