A joint training session of groups of Russian national teams under the leadership of Istomin and Yegor Sorin took place in Sochi on October 13. The training took place in the format of the ascent, that is, a constant ascent on roller skis.
– Of course, the skiers are stronger and it showed. It was important for us that the girls worked in groups, especially since there was a continuous climb. It was good to sit behind your back, to see how they perform technically and tactically, – Istomin said in a special report “Skiers against biathletes” on the channel.
Olympic champion Veronika Stepanova said that she was surprised by the work of the biathletes.
