Former Belarusian national team head coach Andrei Padin worked part of the training camp with a group of biathletes under the guidance of the Russian national team head coach Mikhail Shachilov . This was announced on the Telegram channel by the press secretary of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Sergey Averyanov.
Padin worked at the gathering as a guest specialist. Averyanov hinted that the parties could continue their cooperation.
– The elections (of the leader of the RRF – editor’s note) are over, it is time to return to the emergency. The training camp of our groups in Krasnaya Polyana is coming to an end. Part of the training camp with the group of Mikhail Shashilov was worked out by Andrei Padin, who successfully worked in the national team of Belarus last season. So far, Andrei Viktorovich has worked as a guest specialist. We are waiting for the continuation of the story, – wrote Averyanov.
Earlier, the head of the RRF, Viktor Maigurov, reported that the organization held meetings with Padin for cooperation, but the specialist replied that he took a break from his training work to devote time to his family.
