President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) Stanislav Pozdnyakov summarized the business program of the organization on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC).
In his Telegram channel, Pozdnyakov noted that the ROC had had fruitful meetings with a number of national Olympic committees.
– It can be said with certainty that the Russian Olympic Committee expands the circle of partners and friends. And just today, we had meetings with the NOCs of several countries, including the Republic of Korea, South Africa, Mali, Mauritania, Namibia and Peru.
The meeting with the Republic of Korea Olympic Committee, led by IOC member Ki Hyung Lee, took place in an informal atmosphere. I congratulated my colleague on the excellent holding of the General Assembly and wished him every success in the preparations for the IV Winter Youth Olympic Games in 2024,” Pozdnyakov wrote.
All 206 National Olympic Committees from around the world, including the Russian delegation, took part in the ANOC General Assembly in Seoul.
