Senior Women’s Coach Russian team Mikhail Shachilov spoke about the role of Belarusian specialist Andrey Padin in the national team. His words on the Telegram channel were quoted by the press secretary of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Sergey Averyanov.
Earlier it became known that Padin spent part of the training camp with the Russian women’s team.
– Andrei will work in the national team, I hope nothing will change. He has taken a time out for now, but we will involve him periodically. I think from next season he will be closely involved in the team,” Shashilov said.
RRF chief Viktor Maigurov said the organization held meetings with Padin for cooperation, but the specialist replied that he took a break from his training work to spend time with his family.
