Biathlete Larissa Kuklina spoke about the relationship between the athletes of the group of Honored Coach of Russia Yuri Kaminsky.
At the end of last season, Kuklina moved from Mikhail Shashilov’s group to Artem Istomin. Later, the biathlete joined the Kaminsky group, where only men train.
– How do you work with guys in a band? Tremendous. It’s so cool, I feel the constant male help in any exercise. Looking at them, I understand that it will be difficult for me or that the pace will be high, but nevertheless I adapt to them, with the hope that it will be an impetus for me.
When I arrived, I didn’t know all the team members by name. Someone even told me about you. Now everything is different. I can joke with them, I like that. I feel very comfortable here.
I will always be dissatisfied with something in terms of shooting. I can’t say I’m the best shooter. I know there are mistakes, there is something to work on. But among the guys, I’m the best. Sometimes this confidence in the rifle unit disappears, some kind of cockroach gets in the head and we crawl,” Kuklina told .
