Olympic Champions Alexander Bolshunov , Natalya Nepryaeva and Julia Stupak will take part in the first stage of the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing, which will be held in the Republic of Khakassia, the head coach of the Russian national team told Yuri Borodavko.
The first stage of the KR will take place in the village of Vershina Tyoi on November 19 and 20, then the second stage of the competition will take place there from November 30 to December 5. Borodavko’s group is currently gathering in Khanty-Mansiysk.
– Until November 15 we will be in Khanty-Mansiysk, then from November 16 we will start training in the village of Vershina Tyoi in Khakassia, where we will participate in the Russian Cup stage. Bolshunov, Nepryaeva, Stupak and all the others will take part in these competitions,” Borodavko said.
Borodavko’s coaching staff includes Olympic champions Bolshunov, Nepryaeva, Stupak, Alexei Chervotkin, Denis Spitsov, as well as Maria Istomina, Artyom Maltsev, Daria Nepryaeva, Alexander Terentyev, Ivan Yakimushkin and Nikita Denisov.
