Five-time Olympic champion in cross-country skiing Johannes Klebo will compete in distance races at Norway’s Beitostolen competitions, Norway national team coach Arild Monsen said as quoted by NRK.
Klebo is registered for the races, which will take place on November 19 and 20. At the same time, Monsen said that the sprint (November 18) the skier will not run.
Since mid-July, Klebo has been recovering from a hamstring injury and training according to his own schedule. Earlier it was reported that the six-time world champion could miss World Cup starts before Christmas.
The first stop of the 2022/23 World Cup season will take place in the Finnish town of Ruka from November 25-27.
