IBU announces Biathlon World Cup calendar 2022/23

The season will end in March 2023

International Biathlon Union (IBU) published a calendar of upcoming World Cup season 2022/23.

The championship will start in Finnish Kontiolahti on November 29th. Eight races will take place in the first stage: individual races for men and women, as well as relay races, sprint races and pursuit races

Recall that Ivan Krulko became the new president of the FBU after the conference, which took place on November 15. 58 participants voted for him, the leader of the men’s biathlon team of Ukraine Dmitry Pidruchny scored 31 votes.

President of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine Volodymyr Brynzak wrote a letter of resignation and left his post. The functionary has led the Ukrainian biathlon since 1998.
