– Let’s analyze the results of the Spartakiad, which was revived after 30 years. The Winter Spartakiad will be held in February 2024 in 14 sports in four regions of Russia. The following year, the government approved a plan for holding sporting events. I want this program to be widely implemented at the federal and regional levels,” Matytsin told reporters.
The first All-Russian Summer Spartakiad was held from August 10 to October 2 in 12 regions.
