The Biathlon World Cup started in Finnish Kontiolahti. The first distance of the 2022/23 season is the individual race for men.
The national team of Ukraine is represented by four athletes out of the five declared, because Artem Prima, who was declared at number 100, did not come to the start. And our biathletes who finished, unfortunately, were not satisfied with the result. The best of the Ukrainian team was Anton Dudchenko, who closed the top 30 with a three-minute penalty.
And the best result today was shown by Swede Martin Ponsiuloma, who missed only one target. Together with him, the Swiss Niklas Hartweg and the German David Zobel, who demonstrated sniper shooting, surprisingly climbed the podium.
