The Olympic champion did not end her career
Ukrainian biathlete Vita Semerenko denied information about the end of a career.
“I stay in the sport. Kravchenko never called on the phone and asked how things were going. God be his judge. And from the team for nine months, no one even wrote an SMS, not to mention a call.
“Only rumors are allowed that my husband and I worked as snipers, wherever we worked … I know 100%, but I won’t say names. I don’t train with the team. Now at the training camp in Syanki. I train with Grigory Shamrai.”
Earlier there was information that Ukrainian biathletes Vita Semerenko, Yulia Zhuravok and Anastasia Rasskazova ended their careers this offseason.
The women’s biathlon team of Ukraine has named the composition for the first stage of the World Cup, which will be held in Finnish Kontiolahti.
The World Cup stage in Kontiolahti will be held from November 29 to December 4. Women will open the season on November 30 with an individual race.
