Women’s team Sweden in biathlon won the relay race at the first stage of the World Cup in Kontiolahti, Finland.
The Swedes clocked 1 hour 14 minutes 59.8 seconds. The team was represented by Lynn Persson, Anna Magnusson, Hanna Öberg, Elvira Öberg, on the shooting range they made a total of 6 misses and avoided penalty loops.

Russian biathletes have been suspended from participation in the World Cup by decision of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) due to the situation in Ukraine.
