Sweden won the women’s relay in Kontiolahti, Ukraine finished in 15th place

Good shooting at low speed

national team Sweden won the women’s relay in the first stage biathlon world cup in Finnish Kontiolahti. Ukraine finished in 15th place.

Ukrainians performed as part of: Daria Blashko, Anna Krivonos, Elena Bilosyuk, Irina Petrenko. The team showed good shooting, managing with only five extra rounds (Bilosyuk cleared his stage). However, low speed did not allow to compete for high places. Ukraine eventually lost almost eight minutes.

The winners, the Swedes, used six extra rounds and were almost half a minute ahead of the German team. Norway is in third place.

Earlier, the Ukrainian men’s team finished in the top 10 of the relay. The Norwegians celebrated their victory.
